In our booklet we summarize all relevant information about the event. You will always receive the booklet from us 2 weeks before the event. At the same time you will also receive the route to download for your tracking app.
This season there will be 2 booklets.
-
The event-related booklet that contains the most important information specifically for your mega march. This includes, for example, the pick-up partner, the addresses + opening hours of the stations, arrival and departure options, etc. We will put this online 2 weeks before the event.
-
The overarching Megamarch guide applicable to all events. There we have summarized the most important information for everyone who is participating for the first time.
As a Megamarch newbie, it makes sense that you read both documents (booklet + manual). As an experienced mega marcher, it is sufficient if you only read through the event-related booklet. Of course, a look at the manual doesn't hurt either. ;) You can download and read the manual here:
MANUAL 2023

No. If you notice while hiking that you are in pain or simply can't take it anymore, then listen
on your body. From the 2nd refreshment station we can issue you a certificate when you finish the mega march.

As a first rule, you should never go alone. This way you can motivate and help each other. We also have paramedics at all aid stations and mobile paramedics along the route. Please remember to bring a cell phone so that you can call for help in an emergency. Save the emergency number for the mega march in your cell phone. We will email you the emergency number 2 weeks before the event.

No times are taken. The opening hours of the refreshment stations are planned so that they are open at an average speed of 4.2 km/h to 6 km/h. The MEGAMARSCH is not a running event. We believe that anyone who challenges themselves and breaks their imaginary limits is a winner!

There are at least 4 aid stations. The offer varies depending on the refreshment station and includes, for example, water, fruit, bars, tea, coffee, broth, gherkins and milk rolls. You have to take care of everything else you would like to eat or drink yourself, as we cannot cater to every taste. If you do not tolerate certain foods, you should also bring your own provisions.

How do I get
back home?
You can of course be picked up, or you can use public transport. Our routes are designed so that you can get home by public transport.
You have bought one or more tickets and want to cancel them?
As is usual with events, cancellations/refunds are generally not possible. However, you can pass on your ticket. For this you can use our Facebook group Megamarsch buy & sell. You can find information about the description here: https://www.megamarsch.de/mehr/ticket-support/
Can I bring my dog with
let mega march along?
In principle, we do not prohibit this. Nevertheless, we expressly emphasize that your dog is not insured through us and is not considered a participant. Furthermore, we cannot offer any extra food for animals, which is why you are responsible for this yourself. Remember that your dog also needs food and drink! Last but not least, you should be 100% sure if your dog can do it. The mega march is very exhausting and many participants reach their extreme pain limits. So be clear about what your dog has to do and whether he is used to it. We don't want you torturing your animals! Since leashes are compulsory in Germany, your dogs must of course be on a leash throughout the event.
