Conditions of Participation

(1) The mega march (hereinafter referred to as the event) is carried out by the hundred24 GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the “organizer”). The registered office is as follows: hundred24 GmbH, Blumenberger Str. 143-145, 41061 Mönchengladbach.

 

(2) The sole contractual partner for all participants is hundred24 GmbH.

 

(3) Participant is a natural person who takes part in the mega march.

 

(4) An interested party is a natural person who would like to take part in the mega march.

 

 

§1 Scope

 

(1) These Conditions of Participation regulate the legal relationship (organization contract) that comes about between a participant and the organizer.

 

(2) The organization contract is concluded when the organizer sends the interested party an e-mail with the payment confirmation for the registration for the "Mega March".

 

 

§2 Conditions of participation and health of the participants

 

 

(1) The organizer publishes the conditions of participation on the website (www.megamarsch.de) and only invites natural persons to participate who, according to their subjective feeling, are in the physical and mental condition to access such a sporting performance. It is also clearly conveyed that each participant can disembark early and, if possible, stay and hike in groups. We clearly advise participants who are not in a perfect physical condition and who also have mental problems not to participate. Each participant must have a certain basic level of athletic ability and is responsible for himself and his well-being.

 

(2) By registering with "Megamarsch", the participant confirms that he/she has the necessary health requirements to participate. If necessary, the participation (in case of uncertainty) should have the health requirements checked and confirmed by a specialist.

 

3) In order to take part in the "Megamarsch", the natural person must have reached the age of 18 at the time the event starts.

 

A person who is between 16 and 18 years old at the time the event begins can take part in the Megamarschen 50/12 in Germany and Austria if they and their ( n) signed by the legal guardian(s) and emailed to the organizer in advanceinfo@megamarsch.deis sent. In addition to the declaration of consent, copies of the ID of the signing legal guardian must also be submitted. Registration can only be done by emailinfo@megamarsch.detake place and not via the online ticket platform. The organizer strongly recommends that participants under the age of 18 are accompanied by at least one legal guardian.

 

Participation in the 100 km mega marches and in the mega march 50/12 on Mallorca is only possible for people who have reached the age of 18 at the time the event starts.

 

(4) The registration fee for participation in a mega march is charged for organizing the aid stations, handing out the food, providing paramedics at the aid stations and for issuing certificates. It is also important to note that the StVO applies to every event. The registration fee for the finisher package/participant package and, if applicable, the starter package will be charged for the Megamarsch Spezial #wirgehenweiter and our Mega Challenge. The content will be specified when the event is advertised.

§4 Disclaimer

 

(1) The organizer is not liable for the consequences of health risks in the person of the participant.

 

(2) The organizer assumes no liability for items stored free of charge by the participants and other spectators.

 

(3) If the organizer is obliged and entitled to change or cancel the event in cases of force majeure (e.g. official orders, storms, terrorist threats, fire), there is no entitlement to a refund of the registration fees (tickets) and there are also no claims for damages.

 

(4) The organizer   is not liable for damage resulting from injury to life, limb or health.

 

(5) Participation (especially in the Megamarsch Spezial #wirgehenweiter) is at your own risk. 

 

 

§5 Limitation of Liability

 

(1) The entitlements of the participants to claims for damages or reimbursement of futile expenses are based on the provisions of Section 4 of the Conditions of Participation.

 

 

§6 Cancellation

 

According to § 312 g BGB, event registrations are excluded from exchange and return.

The following applies to our events in Austria: After registering for the event, withdrawal from the contract is excluded in accordance with Section 18 Paragraph 1 Z 1 FAGG. If a registered person does not participate in the competition for reasons that are not in the sphere of the organizer, the neutral sphere or the companies commissioned with the organization and implementation, or the person and the legal guardian(s) declare their non-participation to the organiser, there is no entitlement to reimbursement of the entry fee.

 

§7 route

 

The organizer reserves the right to change the specified hiking route at any time. Reasons for this could be city regulations, weather conditions or better planning options. Possible changes will be communicated by email.

 

§8 Exclusion from the event

 

The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants who do not behave responsibly from the mega march before and during the event. Possible reasons for this can be: inadequate equipment, alcohol consumption, drug use, injuries, environmental pollution and endangering others.

 

§9 Supplement to special events

 

At the event "Megamarsch Sylt" there is no possibility of transferring the tickets to other people. Every potential buyer is selected by us after an application via our form and then receives an explicit invitation to the event. Each participant will be checked on site by checking their identity card. If you are unable to attend the event for any reason, the ticket cannot be rewritten, resold or refunded. This is to prevent third parties from participating in the special edition in order to ensure a fair application process. With travel cancellation insurance/ticket insurance, the participant can secure his trip or ticket, for example in the event of illness. The insurance is offered by an external provider and not by Hundert24 GmbH. 

 

German law applies.
